Where did summer 2019 go? Surely a busy season for this cowpoet.  The 'highlights' include:
1.) The Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering.  A great success.  Hats off to the ACPG Committee and Volunteers that work year-round to make the Gathering spectacular. I surely enjoyed all of my performance opportunities, collaborations with other poets and musicians and the highlight of highlights was being center stage for the closing show Saturday night.  The fans and friendships wholehearted, the performers and performances fantastic, and a great Gathering to preserve and promote cowboy culture through Cowboy Poetry and Western Music. My deep and sincere thanks to all!  Make plans to be there in 2020!
2.) A great night out for folks to enjoy great cowboy 'chuck' and entertainment at New River Arizona's Roadrunner Restaurant & Saloon where I paired with fabulous songstress Gail Starr3.
3.) The 'East meets West' performance of International Western Music Association East Coast Chapter had me teamed with fine musicians in Cumberland MD and it was a pleasure to introduce our 'brand' to newbies and junkies alike.
4.) Twelve performances at (Sponsor) the Pine Ridge Dude Ranch (it is always fun to bring cowboy culture to the predominantly east-coast guests at this fabulous vacation resort where horse'n around is top of the list for favorite activities).
And there were more times for poetic parlance scattered throughout the summer.  Bring on the Fall.  Thanks for riding along.  Mark

Rear view mirror and the windshield.  Surely been a longtime since I updated here and it has been a good ride.
